Launch draft: the business owner must confirm the legal controller details, service providers and retention schedule before this site is published.
Who handles your information
JAKO Digital is an independent digital services business based in South Wales. For questions about your information, contact hello@jakodigital.com. The legal owner’s name and business contact address must be added before public launch.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email, chosen service, message and any optional business name or telephone number you provide. Product enquiries also include product type, quantity, any destination URL you provide and optional additional instructions. Please do not send sensitive personal information, passwords or payment card details.
Our hosting and form providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details and security logs to deliver the website and prevent abuse.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, prepare quotes and take steps you request before entering a contract. General business correspondence and security processing are based on legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, balanced against your rights. Records required for tax or accounting are retained to meet legal obligations. The privacy acknowledgement on the form is not marketing consent.
Who receives it
The site is prepared for Netlify hosting and Netlify Forms. Submitted enquiries are stored by Netlify and may be sent to our business email provider. These providers process information to deliver their services. We do not sell enquiry data or use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Providers may process data outside the UK. Before launch, we will confirm the providers, their processing locations, contractual safeguards and any applicable UK transfer mechanism. You can ask us for further details by email.
How long we keep it
The proposed schedule is to delete unsuccessful enquiries within 12 months of the last meaningful contact, unless a dispute or legal obligation requires longer retention. Customer contract and financial records will follow the applicable legal retention requirements. The business owner must confirm this schedule and apply deletion to form storage and email copies before launch.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not install analytics, advertising cookies, external fonts or social tracking scripts. It uses a temporary session-storage flag after an accepted form submission to show a confirmation message; the flag contains no enquiry details and is cleared when read. Hosting providers may use technical security measures. External services have their own privacy practices when you follow a link.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or transfer your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the email above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
We will update this notice if the way we handle information changes. The date above identifies the current version.
